There was an AFD, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vassilis Papadopoulos, which appears to be about this person, and the close was to Delete, but that was because this person had not played in a fully professional league at the time, and they subsequently have played professionally.
There is also a draft, Draft:Vassilis Papadopoulos, which is about a different person who is a diplomat and author.
